In 1950, Perry moved to CBS and the show’s title was changed to The Perry Como Chesterfield Show sponsored by Liggett & Myers’ Chesterfield cigarettes. Como hosted this informal 15 minute musical variety series on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, immediately following the CBS Television News. Later Perry hosted half-hour versions of his show and moved into one hour variety shows. This collection includes 7 rare shows including two one hour shows.
