When police raid Mabel Robinson’s costume party, Jack Mackett’s father insist he end his engagement to her and leave town with a cousin, Ossie Simpson, who the father hopes will be a good influence on Jack. Although Ossie is instructed to avoid women, comedy and adventure follow as he and Jack flirt with every girl on their way to California with Mabel in hot pursuit.
